Record Cinematics

Use free recording for natural flying routes. Use waypoint authoring for exact camera points, easier edits, and explicit duration.

Free Recording

/cinematic record start <name>

Fly the route. The plugin samples your location every interpolation-steps ticks.

/cinematic record stop

Timed recording:

/cinematic rec <name> <seconds>

This runs a 3-second countdown, records for the requested duration, and saves automatically.

Waypoint Authoring

Add a frame at the current location:

/cinematic addframe <name>

Set total playback duration:

/cinematic duration <name> <seconds>

Preview:

/cinematic path <name>

Smooth Path Tips

• Add at least three frames for visible curves.
• Avoid huge distance jumps between adjacent frames.
• Keep pitch and yaw changes gradual.
• Set explicit duration for final cinematics.
• Use /cinematic edit to inspect or delete bad frames.
